Casserole question?!
I am making chicken, vegie casserole it has chicken breast pieces, vegies, chicken soup and cream should we have anything with it or jsut in a bowl on its own and do u think I should add cheese and will it taste nice thanksWww@FoodAQ@Com

Extra Cheesy Chicken and Noodles Serves 4
4small boneless skinless chicken breast halves
1 (7!.25 ounce) package Macaroni & Cheese Dinner
2 cups water
1 cup frozen vegetable blend, thawed
1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese, divided
Spray large skillet with cooking spray!. Add chicken; cover!. Cook on medium-high heat 2 min!. on each side or until browned!. Add contents of Dinner, water, vegetables and 1/2 cup of the cheese!. Bring to boil; simmer 12 min!.
Sprinkle with remaining cheese; cover!. Let stand 5 min!.
Beef Penne Pasta Casserole Serving 6
1 pound dried penne pasta, prepared according to package directions
8 ounces lean ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
2 cups water
2 cans (6 ounces each) Italian tomato paste
1/3 cup red wine or water
1 tablespoon MAGGI Instant Beef Flavor Bouillon
2 cups (8 ounces) shredded Monterey Jack cheese
PREHEAT oven to 350° F!. COOK beef and onion in large saucepan, stirring occasionally, until beef is no longer pink!. Add water, tomato paste, wine and bouillon; cook, stirring occasionally, for 10 to 15 minutes or until flavors are blended!. LAYER ingredients as follows in ungreased 13 x 9-inch baking dish: 1/2 pasta, 1/2 sauce and 1/2 cheese!. Repeat layers; cover!. BAKE for 20 to 25 minutes or until heated through and cheese is melted!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I love a good casserole, I think I would either add cooked pasta to the casserole itself, or serve this over cooked pasta!. A little cheese never hurt any casserole, I use tons of cheese (any kind you like) and top my casseroles with either seasoned bread crumbs, cracker crumbs, or slightly moistened packaged stuffing mix!.!.!.!.!. If you've got mushrooms and some white wine to add to the chicken soup - yummy! And as you'll have a gravy, what better than mash potatoes, or rice to soak it all up!.

I would add a touch of garlic and serve on a bed of rice!. Do not add cheese as this will detract from the flavour!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
