coconut milk acts as a laxative in large amounts!.!.also, its not full of too much coconut flavor and is very thin and watery!.!.!. dont let the "milk" name fool ya!.!.best product to use is Coco Lopez creme of coconut it thicker and suspends the ice better through out the drink so you dont end up with alot of ice cruched at the top and watery drink at the bottom!. as far as the pinapple goes, use both!. juice and chunks!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Coconut milk is for cooking - you really need cream of coconut for true coconut flavor in a pina colada!. Coco Lopez is great, but there are some cheaper brands!.
I bartended at a place that added a scoop of vanilla ice cream before blending!. It was fabulous!.
Use pineapple juice, the chunks will be stringy!. Garnish with pineapple - fresh if you can get it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Cream of Coconut!. Coconut milk is really thin, and tastes nothing like a pina colada!. The Milk is used more in cooking, like thai curries and western carribean dishesWww@FoodAQ@Com
Cream of coconut for a thicker product!. Pinapple juice only!. You can use the chunks on a tooth pick as garnish!Www@FoodAQ@Com
Definitely coconut cream, not coconut milk!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
i'd use coconut milk it tastes more natural!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
