Answers:
Sautee a half of a diced yellow onion in a few tablespoons of olive oil!. Once the onions get translucent, sprinkle flour over the oil/onion mixture!. Heat on low until the flour turns a golden brown color!. Slowly whisk in chicken broth until you get the consistency you desire!. Add salt and pepper to taste!. Dried or fresh sage is also good in a chicken gravy!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Stir the whole time you are doing this!.
Melt a couple of spoonfuls of butter (or some other kind of fat) in a skillet on medium high heat!.
Sprinkle in enough flour to soak it up t (roughly the same amount as the butter) a bit at a time stirring it with a fork!. (Fork is flatter in the pan and breaks up the flour!.)
Keep stirring til the flour turns brown!. Turn the heat to fairly low and add broth a little at a time til it's as thick as you want it!. Let it simmer a few minutes!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

bring the broth to a boil, in a separate cup mix some cornstarch and water and then pour it slowly into your broth a little at a time constantly stirring till you reach your desired thickness!. keep in mind it will continue to thicken after you take it off the heat!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
