When I read "grilled cheese" my taste buds went CRAZY!.!.!.
it's one of my most favorite sandwiches!.!.!.!.brings back memories of my childhood!.!.!.!.when my Mom would make them on a little sandwich grill and if she didn't pay close attention the cheese would run out the sides!.!.!.
Now to answer your question!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!. I used to only use Kraft's American cheese then I started to experiment with other cheeses and found that a combination worked great!.

Here are some suggestions:
Colby and Cheddar milk or sharp
Fontina and Cheddar
Monterey Jack and Cheddar
Munster and Colby
Provalone and Cheddar

Do a little taste test of the cheeses together in your mouth and see if you like the combinations before making the sandwich!.
also try some different breads too!.!.!.!.it adds to the flavor and also some breads are more healthy for you!.

Time to run to the kitchen!.!.!.I'm ready for one!.!.!.!.

note!.!.!.if you like "hot spicy food" !.!.!.you can use the Monterey jack with Jalapeno peppers!.!.along with cheddar!.!.!.!.but I'd use more cheddar in this one!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It's my daughter's absolute favorite! We make it almost every day with two pieces of muenster and 2 slices of provolone!. The easy way is in the toaster oven with a slice of each on each piece of bread but the yummier way is in a frying pan on med low with a little butter!. Enjoy!Www@FoodAQ@Com

of course! muenster will be stringy like a mozzerrella, and provolone has a little sharper of a taste!. sounds mighty tastyWww@FoodAQ@Com
