It would help if you described the illness!. But usually a nice hearty soup helps!. Nothing with a lot of hot seasoning!. My mom always fed me soft-boiled eggs and toast and jello when I had a sore throat, etc!. But for a cold, and some people just don't have an appetite then, then just an easy chicken soup or veggie/beef soup works wonders!.

sick with what!? !.!.!. anything with GINGER is wonderful for tummy problems/ nausea!. If they're taking medication, you really need to check to see what foods cannot be taken while using that medicine!.!.!.!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I like comfort foods when I am sick with something other than a cold!. But chicken soup when it is a cold!.
