Guava / Pineapple Glaze

8 oz Guava Paste
1/2 Onion, julienne
6 oz Pineapple (chopped)
2 T Water
2 oz Soy Sauce

Boil all together, mashing guava paste with fork
Place in a blender, puree
Put back in pot, simmer 2 min

Ingredients

1/4 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
1/4 cup guava jelly
1/4 cup apple juice
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice

Preparation
Bring all ingredients to a boil in a small saucepan over medium-high heat!. Reduce heat to medium-low; simmer 7 minutes or until glaze thickens and reduces slightly, stirring often!. Remove from heat; cool!.

This recipe goes with Grilled Sweet Guava Chicken
Ingredients

Bring all ingredients to a boil in a small saucepan over medium-high heat!. Reduce heat to medium-low; simmer 7 minutes or until glaze thickens and reduces slightly, stirring often!. Remove from heat; cool!.

Note: For testing purposes only, we used Palmalito Guava Jelly!.

Guava lime glaze

2 cups canned guava nectar
1 cup orange juice
1/2 cup red wine vinegar
1/3 cup fresh lime juice

Preparation
Combine nectar, orange juice and vinegar in heavy medium saucepan!. Boil until reduced to 2/3 cup, about 30 minutes!. Cool completely!. Mix in lime juice!. (Can be made 1 day ahead!. Cover and chill!.)

Guava Glaze:
2 tablespoons garlic, minced
1 cup onion, minced
1/4 cup dry sherry
1 (18-ounce) can guava marmalade
1 (8-ounce) can tomato salsa
4 tablespoons dark corn syrup
3 tablespoons white vinegar

Combine all ingredients and simmer in a large saucepan for 2 hours at very low heat!.

Guava Glaze:
1 cup guava marmalade
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
2 tablespoons orange juice or water
Salt and freshly ground pepper

Whisk together ingredients in a small bowl and season with salt and pepper, to taste!.

Baked Ham with Guava Glaze
Ingredients

1 (5-pound) bone-in, less-sodium ham
Cooking spray
2 teaspoons whole cloves (optional)
3/4 cup guava jelly
2 tablespoons dark rum
1 tablespoon peach nectar
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350°!.

Trim fat and rind from ham!. Score outside of ham in a diamond pattern!. Place ham on a broiler pan coated with cooking spray!. Bake at 350° for 1 hour!.

Stud ham with cloves, if desired!. Combine jelly, rum, nectar, and mustard!. Brush ham with jelly mixture!. Bake an additional 30 minutes or until meat thermometer registers 140°, basting once!. Place ham on a platter; cover with foil!. Let stand 10 minutes before slicing!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Coconut Rum Guava Glaze

2 oz coconut rum
1 qt!. guava syrup
? gal ketchup
2 whole oranges (juiced)
4 oz fresh sliced ginger
8 oz Grey Poupon

Place all ingredients in a saucepan!.
Bring to a boil and simmer for 20 minutes!.
