How to make ranch dressing?!


Question: How to make ranch dressing!?
Whats in Ranch dressing salad mix!? I want to try to be as completely homemade as possible, so I dont want to use one of those little packets!. Can anyone let me know what's in them!?

Mix equal parts mayo and sour cream (try a cup of each) and add 1/2 c!. buttermilk or until desired creaminess!. In another bowl combine 2 tbs!. chopped dill, 2 tbs!. chopped chive, 2 garlic cloves,1 minced onion and parsley!. Add to the mayo mixture!. Stir in 2 tsp!. each of worsteshire, white vinegar, and paprika!.

With this recipe you can experiment with the herbs and how much you like!. Fresh Chive, dill, parsley and garlic all work really well but you could add anything you like!. Get creative!

A few dashes of hot sauce
2 tablespoons (about a palmful) fresh flat-leaf parsley, chopped

I always wonder about ranch dressing!. Where did they get that name!?
What do you have on a ranch anyway!.!.!.horses and cattle right!. Where there are cows there is cow ship!. That's pretty much the smell of a ranch, not exactly a flavor I want on my salad!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
