Here is a great recipe for a creamy garlic and butter sauce for prawns served over pasta!. Enjoy!
Serves 4!.

Ingredients:

200 g!. of uncooked pasta (spaghetti, fettuccine or linguine)
250 g!. of fresh prawns, about 12 pieces
1 c!. of cream
1/2 c!. of shredded parmesan cheese
1/4 c!. of butter
1/2 head of garlic
a handful of fresh parsley
salt and pepper to taste

Cook the pasta according to package directions!. Drain, douse with cold water, drain again and set aside!.

While the pasta cooks, prepare the prawns!. Remove the heads, peel off the shell and tail!. Make an incision along the back and remove the black vein that runs across the length of the prawn!. If you wish, you can cut each prawn in half lengthwise!.

Crush the garlic, remove the skins then finely chop!.

Roughly chop the parsley!.

Heat the butter in a large sauce pan!. Add the garlic and cook until lightly browned!. Pour in the cream, lower the heat and bring to simmering (not boiling) point!. Add the prawns and simmer for about 3 minutes!. Add the parsley and grated cheese!. Stir until the cheese melts!. Season with salt and pepper!.

Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and toss to coat the noodles well!. Transfer to a serving platter and serve at once!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Asian Prawns

3 garlic cloves, whole, smashed!.
3 slices of fresh ginger!.
1 tablespoon of rice wine!.
1 tablespoon of soy sauce!.
1 tablespoon of honey!.
1 tablespoon of sesame seeds!.
2 teaspoons of five spice powder!.
1 teaspoon of sesame oil!.

marinate a pound of prawns for about 30 minutes leaving half of the marinade for simmering down to pour over grilled prawns!.

Grill prawns over high heat for about 2 minutes per side!.

You can serve this over a bed of white rice and have a side dish of chinese veggies!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

500 g prawns
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 cup cream
4 garlic cloves
1 tablespoon fresh coriander
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
2 teaspoons olive oil

Peel and devein prawns leaving tails on!.
2!. In a small bowl combine lemon juice, crushed garlic, salt and pepper!.
3!. In a heavy based skillet, melt butter and olive oil on a medium heat!.
4!. Once butter has melted add prawns and garlic mixture and increase heat to ensure prawns are cooked quickly!.
5!. Toss prawns and mixture for 1-2 minutes or until prawns turn pink!.
6!. Add coriander and toss for a further 30 seconds!.
7!. Reduce heat!. Add cream and stir through!.

Well Nisey took my recipe!.!.!.!.lol!. So i'll give you my quik version which is simply "Shrimp Alfredo"!.!.!.!.!.

2T!. butter
1/2 t!. chpd!. garlic
couple of shakes of black pepper
1 T!. salt
2 T!. veg!. oil
1 jar of Ragu alfredo sauce
#1 of fettucini noodles
#1 of precooked shrimp


Melt butter in a skillet on med low, add garlic and don't burn it!. When its done, add alfredo sauce and black pepper and bring to a simmer!. Add shrimp and bring back to a simmer!. Let simmer for about 10-15 min!. while you cook the pasta!.
Start a pot of cold water to coming to a boil, when it has reached a good hard boil, add 2 T!. of veg!. oil to water along with 1 T!. salt, oil will keep noodles from sticking together, stir noodles every couple minutes to make sure they separate!.

Once noodles are al-dente', drain and add to sauce, toss in sauce and add some parsley on top!.

serve with french bread or a salad

This is super easy!. Mince as much garlic as you like!. usually i mince 3 cloves per 6 prawns!. Heat a pan coat pan with olive oil and prawns and garlic!. Depending on how big the prawns are cook on med-high heat for 2 to 3 minutes on each side!. Season with salt on each side before and after you turn them!. I the shell is on add more salt then you normally would if not add as much as you like!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
