Question: Looking for a good recipe for fruit salad!?
Answers:
For a plain fruit salad: Just hollow out half of a watermelon, and refill it with cubed melon, strawberries, blueberries, pineapple chunks (maybe honeydew & cantaloupe too)!. I garnish it with fresh mint sprigs!.!.!.!.!.!. I had a friend who used to toss her fruit with simple syrup, but I think the fresh fruit is sweet enough by itself:)

FRUIT AMBROSIA
2 c!. heavy whipping cream
1/2 c!. sugar
1 tsp!. vanilla extract
1/2 tsp!. almond extract
1 large can mandarin oranges, drained
1-2 cans fruit cocktail, drained
3-5 c!. miniature marshmellows
Beat cream, sugar & extracts until very stiff peaks!. Fold fruit & marshmellows in!.!.!.!. ChillWww@FoodAQ@Com

Minted Fruit Salad (serves 12)

1 pint basket strawberries
3 kiwis
1 medium size ripe canataloupe
1 medium size ripe honeydew melon
handful fresh mint leaves
1/2 cup fresh orange juice
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
3 tablespoons granulated sugar

Wash, drain and hull strawberries!. Peel kiwis and slice thin, reserving 1 sliced kiwi for garnish!. Using melon baller, cut balls from both melons!. Mix all fruit together except for reserved kiwi!. Chop mint leaves very fine and sprinkle on fruits!. (Save a few leaves for garnish)
Mix orange and lemon juice with sugar and pour over fruit!. Toss gently!.
Arrange kiwi slices on top and garnish with a mint leaf!. Chill for 2-3 hours and serve cold!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

2 Apples 1cm cube
2 Pears 1cm cubes
2 banana 1cm slice
12 strawberries halved
3 kiwi sliced and halved
15 grapes halved
Pour over a cup of pineapple, apple or orange juice
sprinkle sugar and leave for 1-2 hours

Sling in all the fruit you like and cover with fresh orange juice - lovely and crisp at first, but softens up in the fridge overnight so is quite different next day - rather nice!Www@FoodAQ@Com
