Has anyone ever eaten Bean fudge?!
I was watching a show on travel and living channel about route 66 in USA!.!. the guys ate some fudge a lady in Oklahoma made from mashed pinto beans, vanilla, cocoa powder and loads of powdered sugar!.!. has anyone eaten this!?!.!. does it taste nice or all beany like!?!.!. I was curious to try this!.!. sounded interesting,, but will it give one gas!? and does it taste like traditional fudge!? thanksWww@FoodAQ@Com

It is more common than you might think,,,here is mine but you need to look up Velveeta Fudge on google!.!.it is to die for!.!.!.!.you can add a pinch of soda to this bean fudge and make it more digestible!.!.!.I don't know of anyone who had a problem but that would solve it if they did!.!.and yes, strangely enough this is quite good!.
Bill's Bean Fudge
1/2 cup unsweetened baking cocoa
1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons butter
1 2/3 cups mashed pinto beans
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 pounds powdered sugar
Melt together unsweetened baking cocoa and butter!. Mix in thoroughly drained and mashed pinto beans, vanilla, and powdered sugar!.
Place in a large, buttered, shallow baking pan with sides and chill until firm!.
Makes 24 pieces!.
The fudge made with Velveeta cheese,,that one is to die for and taste like expensive home made fudge!.!.!.I serve it every Christmas and people love it!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

No!. I have never have eaten bean fudge!. But I will try a piece of bean fudge if I ever find some at local festivals!.

I've tried a red bean popcicle before!. Asian use beans for deserts more than for savory dishes!. You can go to any Asian market and try for yourself!. It doesn't taste bad, but not great either!. I guess it's an aquired taste!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
