Planked grilled pickerel?!
I usually deep fry pickerel and serve with potatoes, etc!. But am wondering if anyone out there has tried to plank grill pickerel and if so what seasonings would you use!? (Cedar planks)Www@FoodAQ@Com

Plank'um! Lemon pepper and dill, slice an onion and lay a few rings over the fillet, I cover with a foil tent even when I use the lid!. Scorch (heat) the side of the plank your going to lay the fillet on for a few minute first!. You're good to go, it should take about 15 minutes depending on your heat source/output, watch for plank flame-ups, squirt bottle at the ready!. While you're at it you might want to slice some veggies and lay them on the Q as well!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
