Garlic Bread?!

Question: Garlic Bread!?
I made some garlic bread with a baguette, but it was miles too crispy for me!.
If I were to use the rolls/baguettes that you have to cook for 10 mins (if you know what I mean) + cut them open + fill them with the garlic butter BEFORE I cook them, would it turn out ok!?
Thanks for any help!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
You can use baked baguettes but wrap tightly in foil and use a lower oven temp!. The moisture already contained in the bread will help to keep it soft!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

We make our own bread so wasting any after that effort is an absolute no!. So if we have some left over we just slice it thick (at least 1cm) and use it for garlic bread!.

Crush the garlic and add to half to half olive oil and butter!. The other essential ingredient is LOTS of dried parsley!. Just let it all blend together, spread and stick it in the oven on trays!. The crusts are especially nice!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

id suggest you mix butter and garlic put it on the baguettes and then cook them for the 10 minuetes that they need to be cooked for then theyll be cooked and not over crispy, this worked for me , i had the same problemWww@FoodAQ@Com

should be fine!

If you do your own baguette again wrap it in foil - the bread will come out nice and soft!. I don't like crispy bread either!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

ya that would be fine put it in though in slices and not too thin so by the time the 10 mins is up it will be melted !
