I would say take as much meat off the chicken bones as you can (save the bones to make chicken stock out of if you want), mix the meat back in with the tomato sauce, and serve it over pasta or rice!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Leave the wings and serve them with some rice that you've cooked with a bit of the sauce, and then mix in more of the sauce after the rice is cooked - or get fancy and make a risotto!. You can use the sauce on pasta as well!. Wings are too much trouble to remove the meat and make into something else!. You're just in for some sloppy eating, but it should taste good!. You could also get some meatballs, or make some, brown them in the oven, or in a pan, finish cooking in the sauce and serve with the wings and the rice, or some pasta and call it an Italian Fricassee!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Eating the wings is going to be messy!. If you don't mind, turn it into a chicken cacciatore and roll up your sleeves!
Saute some bell peppers and onion in olive oil!. When they are mostly soft, add some crushed garlic and saute a minute or two (careful not to brown the garlic) Add your tomato sauce, italian herbs, a pinch of crushed red pepper (optional) and simmer it uncovered until it boiled down a bit (I'm thinking it's probably pretty thin right now)!. Add the chicken wings and continue to let it simmer!. Timing is approximate!. It'll be fine!. Add water or chicken broth if it gets too thick!.
Meanwhile boil some pasta!. Spoon the veggies, sauce over the pasta and top with chicken wings!. Top with chopped flat leaf parsley if you have it (HIGHLY recommended) and parmesan cheese!. Use your hands to deal with the wings as you eat the flavorful pasta!.
This probably won't be a thick sauce, but that's OK!. Chicken cacciatore doesn't have to be thick!. It's all about the flavor!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
