First of all he doesnt have to cut out his pasta's all together as he IS talian!.!.!. you could just use Whole wheat pasta, and add some chooped chicken on top!.!.!. with some pasta suace or an olive oil sauce!.!.!. try to avoid the cream sauces as they are high in fat!.

Add some steamed veggies (such as green beans or broccoli - i just cook them untill they are starting to go tender but are still crisp) and then toss them in some olive oil/butter salt and pepper and some garlic or paprika for some flavour!.

Salmon is always a good hit in my house and is sooooooo healthy!. and it only takes about 5-7 miniutes to cook!. and you could steam the veggies at the same time as it also only takes about 5-7 minutes and maybe some brown rice (more healthy then white rice)

All of that inclding prep time shouldn't take more then 20minutes to make

Good LUck with your diet, I'm going through the same thing, except i'm fussy and my boyfriends skinny and can seem to eat whatever he wants!.!.!. the jerk haha

The first thing is portion control, so cutting down what you eat by half will give you both a leg up! also, switch to whole wheat pasta (there are some good ones that aren't too expensive and they taste good), and then try cooking a pot of brown rice instead of white and portion into bags or containers 1/2 cup servings!. These can be frozen and heated in a little bit of time in the microwave!. If you put on some pasta or rice to cook while you're making dinner, you will have that much more work done for later!. also, when you're chopping veggies for lunch or dinner, do extra and store in fridge already prepped!.

The best is to lower your fat intake (as in cheese), and limit your frying, choosing baking or pan frying (in little or no oil) instead!. also, adding loads of veggies in things you might not notice (salsas, pasta sauces, etc), will help without the taste you might not like!.

also, add fruits like berries to your menus, as they help fill you up while adding necessary antioxidents!.

Good luck!Www@FoodAQ@Com

One of my favorites is salmon!. Very good for you and can be very quick to cook!. Buy enough for the two of you (filets, skinned) and a jar of pesto!. Preheat the oven to 450!. Spray cooking sheet!. (If your salmon has skin on one side, don't spray, put the skin side down, when you pick it up after cooking the skin peel right off!.) Put the salmon on a cooking sheet, slather the pesto all over it!. (I put it on thick) Bake in top one third of the oven for 10-15 minutes!. (10 min!. per inch thickness!.

one thing me and my husband do is grill chicken for dinner and then grill a couple extra pieces!. Put the extra chicken on a salad for lunch the next day!. It doesn't take any extra time and is a healthy lunch!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
