Question: Ribs in crock pot help! Black stuff all in the pot, are the ribs ok!?
I found a recipe and put short back ribs in a crockpot!.

They have only been in for a hour, but there is black stuff every where!? Is it from the bones!? Why is it doing this will they still be ok to eat!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

did you have to brown them first!?!? maybe they burnt and that is coming off the ribs as they are cooking

Make sure the lining stuff in your crockpot is not coming off ! Some old nonstick pans will do that!. DId any of the ribs burn!?Www@FoodAQ@Com
