Question: Why Does White Wine Make Pasta Sauce So Much Tastier!?
I just tried it for the first time for a tomato pasta sauce, and it gave it much more flavor than I thought it would!. Does anyone know what features of the wine does this!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

There's tons of flavors in the grapes themselves, and when the alcohol is cooked off they really just give a depth of flavor to a sauce!.

I add wine to just about anything I cook!. It's not just for the taste, but (like I said) it adds a richness and complexity to any dish!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Wine adds a robust flavor to many things like soups and stews and even beef gravy !.Www@FoodAQ@Com
