Question: Do you think teen girls would think prepare new recipes together would be a fun activity!?
Answers:
I'm not a teen but a mom but I can tell you my kids loved to have friends over to cook!.We started doing it occasionally but somehow I wound up with a group of around ten kids in my kitchen after school everyday and they weren't all girls!. One of the boys is now a sous chef in one of the big Vegas hotel dining rooms!. I won't drop names :) and my son owns a vegan restaurant in San Francisco!. I can't help but think our cooking sessions promoted their interest!.
I'd start off with fun, simple things that they can enjoy eating like cookies or homemade chips and salsa but don't hesitate to work your way up!. Most of the kids were thrilled to know they could go home and cook dinner for their parents when we reached that point!. The kids have fun, stay out of trouble for that few hours and it can be a very satisfying experience for you!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I remember having a lot of fun cooking with my girlfriends in high school!. Maybe you could stock up your pantry with some fun baking ingredients (different chocolate chips, extracts, nuts, fruit, different colored icings, gels and other food decorations)!. Then you could have a cookie or cupcake party with one basic dough and different flavors in small batches!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I think it's a very funnnn idea! The only thing that gets difficult is if there's a lot of people and a small kitchen!. also, it's great if there's some fun things everyone can do, like decorate the cookies or cupcakes, etc!.!.!.or shape the dough, the fun hands on stuff that can make each uniqueWww@FoodAQ@Com

My daughters used to love to bake cookies when they were teens !.!. but that was about the extent of their interest in the kitchen:) !.!.!.!. (luckily, now that they're moms, they're both terrific cooks!)Www@FoodAQ@Com
