Cooking chicken in microwave with Zip N Steam bag?!

Question: Cooking chicken in microwave with Zip N Steam bag!?
I love using the Zip n Steam bags in the microwave for vegetables!. They are wonderful!. I've been debating using it for meat!. I've never good mean in the microwave before, I'm kinda leery of it!. Especially chicken!. I'm really paranoid about making sure it's cooked all the way through!. How well do the bags/recommended time cook chicken in the microwave!? ThanksWww@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
works good, cook just a little longer than recommended to give you some comfort (also add some spices in the bag for additional flavor)Www@FoodAQ@Com

I wouldn't recommend it!. You need to cook meat throughly, and the melted fats/oils from the meat might damage the bag!.

I haven't used Zip N Steam for meats yet, but from my experiences, cooking meat with plastic coverings results in melted plastic and a greasy mess!. But you could always experiment ^^Www@FoodAQ@Com

Meat + Microwave = GROSS!. Don't do it!. You won't like the results, it will be soggy, probably undercooked and it will smell terrible!. It might work for reheating (not from frozen), try it with that maybe!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

don't cook ANY meat in the microwave! It gets rubbery, and doesn't brown up - so it looks disgusting too !.!.!.!. food prices are too high now, to waste the money you spent for chickenWww@FoodAQ@Com

NOOOOOOOOOO dont do it!. Dont ever cook chicken in the microwave period!.!. lolWww@FoodAQ@Com
