I need some advice about seasonings?!

Question: I need some advice about seasonings!?
I want to make chicken breasts using chilli powder, paprika and seasoned salt!. How much of each do you think I should use for 1 pound of boneless, skinless chicken breasts!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Depends on how you will be cooking them!.

If you plan on grilling them then making a nice thick rub would work great!. I would use 1 - 2 tablespoons of everything except the seasoned salt (I would use 1 teaspoon)!. Bind it together with a little olive oil and lemon juice (1 tablespoon each) and rub it on the breasts until they are completely covered!.

If you plan to roast or saute them then I would drop those quantities down to half of what i indicated above!.

Grilling will reduce the potency of the spices due to loss on the grill and charing and needs a heavier spice coverage because of that!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You may want to use 1 -2 tablespoons of each rather than the teaspoon!. A pound of chicken is a lot!. You can always add more if necessary!. Depending on how much flavor you are looking to add to the dish, is your guideline to how "coated" you want your chicken!. An easy way to coat your chicken with your spices is the old fashion shake and bake style!. Place all of your spices into a large plastic bag and add your chicken, and shake!.

I'd use 1-2 TB each of chili powder, and paprika but only a couple of tsp!. of seasoning salt, or it will be too salty!. Add some pepper, garlic powder and oregano too!.!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I would use 1 tsp!. chili powder, 1 tsp!. paprika, and 2 tsp!. season salt!. My opinion only!.!.!.add more chili powder if you want!.!.!.Good Luck!!!Www@FoodAQ@Com
