My mom makes this delicious pasta salad in the summertime that can be a good snack or meal, depending on your portioning!. It is fresh and healthy! also light and delicious!
Cook orzo pasta in chicken stock!. Add shredded boiled chicken, diced red peppers and celery, halved cherry tomatoes, chopped almonds (pre-packaged)!. Mix in some chopped sprigs of parsley or basil, too!. Then make an olive oil-based dressing with lots of salt and pepper and mix it all in!. Experiment with different ingredients-- it's real good for using up whatever happens to be in the fridge!. Let it chill and marinate and enjoy!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Pasta:- Seafood
6 T!. soy sauce, divided (with extra available)
6 T!. olive oil, divided (with extra available)
8 oz!. imitation crab meat, in bite size pieces
1 large sweet onion, slice into rings
8 oz!. Elbow pasta, cooked & drained
In skillet, sauté onion rings in 3 T!. olive oil!. Sprinkle on 3 T!. soy sauce!. Cover and sauté over medium heat for 5 minutes!. Add imitation crab!. Sprinkle on another 3 T!. soy sauce and 3T!. olive oil!. Do not let pan go dry!. It should be juicy!. Let simmer for 15 minutes or until onions are caramelized and crab is nicely browned and crisp along edges!. Toss with hot pasta!. Serve!.

You can also change ingredients!. You have to boil the rice and wait until it becomes fresh!. Then you can put inside whatever you want ( pepper, fresh tomato, wusterl, tune, mais cheese, olives and so on) !. Put it in the fridge for few hours, add some mayonaise and start to eat it!. Try this pasta recipe!. You boil up pasta (I use the colorful ones that have three colors in a package and look like spirals)!. Boil about a cup or more in salted water!.!.!.when done!.!.!.drain and set aside!. Chop up lots of vegetables like tomatoes, cucumbers, green pepper, red pepper, chives, black olives and add to the pasta noodles!. Add a generous amount of basil or Zatar, if you have it!. This makes for a cool but filling pasta salad that I usually garnish with Thousand Island salad dressing!. Enjoy!Www@FoodAQ@Com
