Cooking with Saffron?!
I just bought a gram of saffron to experiment with in cooking!. I know it's essential in paella and other ethnic dishes, but what other dishes could I use it in!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

It permeates liquids very well and is most cost effective using it in that manner!. As an example, i like making an Alfredo like sauce with saffron!. Just let the saffron sit in the cream under very low heat to extract the most flavor!.
