Pork bones, can they be used for anything?!


Question: Pork bones, can they be used for anything!?
I know you can use beef bones and chicken bones for stock,but other than ham hocks and ham bones, Can they be used for stock!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Ham/pork bones can be boiled down to make a great stock for ham and bean soup!.!.!.!.You could do it now and freeze it until needed!.!.!.!.

Sweet Corn & Pork Bone Soup

Ingredients:
500g pork bones or ribs
2 sweet corns, halved
2 carrots, cut into sections
2 candied dates (金丝蜜枣)
2!.5L water
Salt to taste (I needed only 1/2 tsp)
Method:
Clean pork bones/ribs!. In a pot, add water enough to cover the pork bones or ribs; bring water and bones/ribs to a boil!. Continue to boil for 2-3 minutes to get rid of impurities and blood stains!. Wash bones again under running water!.

In another pot, combine all ingredients, including the cleaned pork bones/ribs!. Bring to a boil, lower heat and continue to boil for 2 hours!.

Season with salt, if necessary!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

sure,,,,In my book any bone is game for making stock!.!.!.!.pork bones would be a great base for any soup!.!.!.!.or roast !.!.!.unlike ham hocks they are not smoked so you have plenty of options!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
