Chicken wing help!?!

Question: Chicken wing help!!?
I want to cook them in a pot, what do I need and how do I do it right!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
um, I would say not to cook chicken wings in a pot unless you are frying them!. I do love other skinless chicken in pots, with the right addatives, but chicken wings don't have enough meat, and too much skin, which will make it slimy kinda!. What you'll want to do is put them on a pan and bake at 350 for 45 mins!. they taste great if you marinate them, or put some sauce on them the last 10 minutes of cooking time!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Put enough oil in the pot to cover the chicken wings!. Fry until done and crispy!.

I also like to do the wings on the grill (gas or charcoal)!. I cook until crispy, turning numerous times throughout cooking!.

As far as sauces do whatever you like!. You can find in the store hot wing sauce (which is basically hot sauce and butter)!. I make a honey mustard mixture mixing honey mustard with some extra honey!. My husband likes his wings hot!. He generally mixes some barbecue sauce with some sort of hot sauce (we generally buy special hot sauce not just Tabasco)!. We have a couple of wing restaurants in our area and they have numerous sauces for wings!. You can get ideas from places like that or you can even buy their sauces!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Deep fried wings are great, but take a long time!. If your wings are partially frozen, your best bet is to lightly spray a sheet with cooking spray, bake them until the juices run clear (although the wings won't be very browned on outside) and then "flash fry" them in hot oil in a pot on the stove, for about 5 minutes each!. This will assure that they're cooked through to the inside, but nice and crispy on the outside!.

If all you have is a pot, then make sure your wings are fully thawed (it might help to cover them on a plate and let them reach room temperature), then deep fry them in hot oil until cooked through!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Crispy chicken wings!?
OR
Pan Fried!?

Crispy, you need to heat up oil in the pot to 135 degrees or until it crakles mildly when you add a piece if chicken to the oil!. NOT RAPIDLY or if the oils splatters out of the pot, your oil is TOO HOT, turn down the heat!.
Fry those up for about 8 min!. or until the middle isn't raw or bloody and outside is golden brown!. Take out of pot and place on a paper towel to absorb excess oil!. Eat ASAP or the chicken won't be as crispy!.

Pan-Fried, Add a TBLSN of butter or oil to the pot, heat on med high!.
When placing chicken in the pot don't over-crowd the pot cook 2 - 3 min on each side until golden brown!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

A deep pan with a lid to keep the hot oil from splashing out!. (assuming you're deep frying) Be sure there isn't ice on the outside if you're cooking frozen wings, that can cause an explosive reaction and lead to bad burns or a house fire!.
