Sure it is!.!.!.thats the way most bread puddings end up being anyway!. You don't want it to be overly firm, because it might dry out on you!. Since you didn't use eggs in this recipe!.!.there really isn't any need to be concerned about something being under-cooked!. Top that bad-boy with some whipped cream and dig in!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I love bread pudding and it's one of my favorite desserts to make!.!.!.so I can really appreciate this question! Personally, I wouldn't eat it, but that's up to you!. Depending on when you took it out of the oven, you could always try to put it back in for more baking time!. But if it's been out for a while, baking it more will just dry it out, ruin what you have and won't give you the results you are looking for!. Too high oven temperature is probably what caused the uneven cooking!. Next time try baking it at a lower temperature depending on your oven 250-300F is ideal!. Let it cool to room temperature and then refrigerate it overnight so it sets!. Then you can serve it at either room temperature or warm it back up!. I hope this helps!.!.!.good luck!Www@FoodAQ@Com

You can still eat bread pudding even though its mushy!. Its cooked all the way but you need to see if its really wet on the inside of it!. Get a wooden toothpick and stick it to the middle of the bread!. And if its wet a lot then heat it up for 5 more minutes!. But if its just mushy then you can just dig in!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Bread pudding is supposed to be somewhat mushy! Sounds to me like its cooked just right! However if you don't like the texture scoop out the top and middle part and stick the bottom part back in the oven, to firm it up! Although I think this is unnecessary!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I'd be afraid that the eggs aren't cooked!. Try putting the pan back in the oven or taking out the filling, putting it in a different dish, cutting it into pieces (serving size) and putting it back in the oven!.

If you're not worried about food borne illness!.!. go ahead and eat it!Www@FoodAQ@Com

It's fine!. It will be a bit mushy, but quite good!. After about 10-15 minutes, the eggs are done! No worries!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Take the top layer off and pop it back in the oven, I would mix an egg in!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Uh, be my guest!!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

sounds good to meWww@FoodAQ@Com
