How many racks of ribs would i need for 35 people?!
Answers:
If you are talking about babyback ribs, they have a typical rib count of 12 ribs per rack!. You can figure that the average male can eat about 6 and women 4!. So if you split the difference, I think 8 racks should work with some to spare!.!.!.After they are cooked, you can cut them in portions of 3 ribs and there will be plenty to go around!. I always prepare a little more than enough to make room for big eaters and I don't have to worry about running out!. If you are making another meat like, chicken or whatever, you won't even need 7 racks!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
It depends on what else you are fixing, how many of the people are children!. But 6 ribs per adult is about average, about a pound per person, if you don't have any other meat dish!. So a rack would be two people, three max!.
If you are BBQing, say chicken and ribs, with side dishes and salads, then 3 or 4 or about 1/3 to 1/2 pound per person!.
People either love ribs or hate them!. It is really better to have another protein for that many people, even if its just chicken wings!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I would guess most people (adults) could eat a 1/3 rack!. I would say enough for each person to have a third of a rack just to be safe!. 12 racks!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
As a rule of thumb, when buying meat, look for enough to provide each diner a half pound of meat!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
about 5, 6, or 7!.
depends on how much they usually eat!.!.!.!.lolWww@FoodAQ@Com
