What fruit would you add to make fruit skewers?!
Answers:
Alternate pineapple, green grapes, strawberry, canteloupe, red grapes, watermelon!.
I suggest these because they skewer well and hold up-and the colors will look nice!. also, the taste blends rock!!! I don't use apples, pears, nectarines, bananas or peaches because they turn brown quickly!.
For something really nice, make an easy 'dip' for your fruit:
1 jar marshmallow creme
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Mix all the ingredients together well!. Let them sit in the fridge for a few hours so the flavors blend!. You can make a bunch of skewers, and then the rest of chopped fruit and grapes for people to dip!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I would think it would all depend on a few different considerations:
First and foremost, what's in season and available!?
Second, the desired blend of flavors; I wouldn't go all acidic or all sweet!.
Third, and possibly not a factor at all, colors!.
There are a few you might avoid, such as Kiwi, as you might get really frustrated keeping them on the skewer!. Apples, cherries, pineapple, various melons will stay on nicely!.
If this is a dessert thing, you could consider adding a marshmallow or a piece of sponge cake, too!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
