This is an spice use most by Indians and Arabic people they use it a lot to Cook chicken and Rice and potatoes!.But you have to use a small amount because off the bitter taste!. But the way they cook it taste very good I have tasted before and i like it !.When you travel you taste all kinds off food and you have to learn to eat this!.They also cook it with coconut and it was very different but good!. Something you will learn to eat if you are from there country!.Is nice when you travel to taste all different kin off food!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Fenugreek is the ingredient in curry powder that gives it that "warm" sweetish smell!. I always add a bit more to a bought curry powder!.
It also sweetens a vegetable soup that has not enough carrots or too much cabbage, which tastes a bit "flat"!.

A medicinal use is, boil for a minute, strain or settle the dregs, and drink as tea (with a bit of sugar)!. Supposed to be very good for the lungs, especially bronchitis (Turkish recipe)!.

The bitter taste goes when it is cooked!. If you like it, next time get the seeds, as they keep their flavour better, and you can use them whole or lightly crushed (under blade of knife or a heavy glass)!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You cannot make really good testy foods with it!. But have some nutritional value!. The best thing i use this for dandruff!. Yes sounds different, but it is useful for dandruff treatment!. You have to mix it with alovera gel and apply on hair!.

also you can use into some reciepes like stuffed okra, eggplant curryWww@FoodAQ@Com

Tried a couple of recipies that Paul Purdhome had in one of his books!. I didn't like it so I tossed the spice!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
