First of all I have to say that I have asked these questions before and I am amazed that the people answering only come up with fruit, lettuce, and celery!
There are so many recipes I don't even know where to start!. Well, most Japanese dishes are high in vegies an protein which is healthy!. There are plenty of recipes at uwajimaya!.com/recipes that you could try out!.
One of my favorite dinners is broiled Sanma(fish) with a small garden salad and miso soup!. It is filling but I never feel uncomfortably full from eating it!.
Another great dinner is a small steak with steamed broccoli maybe a soup!. Sometimes I make a huge salad with crumbled real bacon, hardboiled egg, scallions, rotini pasta, and romaine or whatever lettuce you like!. It is so good!.

I don't diet often, but basically what I try to do to keep it this way is eat off a smaller plate!. Then fill half the plate with veggies or salad, 1/4 of the plate with a lean protein, and 1/4 with a non-white starch (brown rice, sweet potato, quinoa)!.
For snacks try to keep it to things you like that aren't empty calories!. Cheese and whole wheat crackers, peanut butter and apples, cottage cheese on 1/2 english muffin!.
Don't change your diet too much or you won't stick to it!. Make the same things you generally do, just try to lean them up a little bit!. I buy low fat dairy (not no fat), try to stick to lean proteins!. You'd be surprised but a few dashes of worschesshire sauce will make ground beef more beefy!. If I am going to have red meat I try to have it in fajitas or something where it's not the primary flavor in the dish!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

think about what you ate, if you've had a lot to eat or a lot of calories just have a fruit or vegetable, an apple or some celery!.
if you havent had a lot then have some nuts or beans or some other higher calorie food, bt in a small portion!. i really like peach sorbet with peanut butter lol!. but i know u probably think thats disgusting!!! lol but it's good for you :)Www@FoodAQ@Com

white fish (tilipia) on tin foil with a couple of splashes of white wine and some stir fry or mix of veggies great fast and easy!!
