Question: Recipe calls for 1 cup LIGHT cream, I have HEAVY whipping cream!?
do I need to half the heavy cream or whatWww@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
mix 1/2 cup heavy cream with 1/2 cup milk to give you light cream!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Not knowing what the recipe calls for or what it's for, I'd go buy some Light Cream, as they recommend!. That's my 2 cents worth!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

The recipe would most likely end up being around 1/3 cup HEAVY!.!. but even that wont be the same, i would really just go and get the LIGHT because using the HEAVY will really throw things off!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

1 C liquid = 1 CWww@FoodAQ@Com

depends what it's for, but I'd just use the heavy cream!.!.!.!. it'll be thicker and richer tasting, but should workWww@FoodAQ@Com

No it will be fine, just use heavy!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
