Can I make macaroni and cheese the night before?!

Question: Can I make macaroni and cheese the night before!?
I'm going to a church potluck tommorrow and bringing macaroni and cheese!. I would prefer not to wake up early in the morning to make it!. Do you think I could prepare the sauce and noodles at night and then just stick it in the oven in the morning!? Or will the macaroni get soggy!? Or is it better to just bake it tonight and reheat in the morning!? Or do I just have to suck it up and wake up early to make it!? I'd really appreciate any suggestions!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
I have done this lots of times!. I like to make a little extra sauce to prevent dryness!. I pour the sauce on the night before, put a lid on it, and put it in the oven the next day to heat about 45 min!. with the lid on!. Works great!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

if i were you!.!.!.!.!. i'd suck it up and make it in the morning, many dishes benefit and taste better from sitting in the fridge overnight, mac and cheese however is not one of them, i bake mine and have tried various things to keep it till the next day and its never as good
i would definately make it in the morning, especially because you are taking it for others to eat, your own family will be more forgiving if it wasnt quite up to scratch,Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you make your baked mac & cheese like I do, you're just pouring the white sauce on top, and it isn't liquidy enough to get the pasta soggy!.!.!.!.!.so, I'd put it together the night before and bake it in the morningWww@FoodAQ@Com

If you keep the sauce & pasta separate until the morning it will be fine!.
If you make it the day before it will look as though there is no sauce, and be a little hard & dry!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Make it tonight then put it in the frig and reheat in the morning, you'll be glad you did!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

some things are better "the second time around" , like lasagna AND mac and cheese!. hurray! you can sleep in!Www@FoodAQ@Com

You are going to bed early tonight!!!

Good luck!.
