Answers:
I'd say neither!. Get some Lipton onion soup and dip mix and add that to some low fat cream cheese!. It makes a super onion dip!. That along with some baked lays chips and they will be gone in no time - addictive!. Otherwise, if you find a ripe watermelon and have a good knife that it always a nice contribution to a BBQ!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

artichoke dip!. if the dishes aren't assigned, someone will more than likely bring the deviled eggs anyway!.

With the artichoke dip, bring some tostidos chips or Townhouse crackers!. its yummy on both!.

I make mine by buying a can of artichokes (not the marinated kind, the regular kind) then I cut them up!. Mix that with about a half cup of mayo a cup of sour cream and a half cup of Italian blend shredded cheese (provolone, Parmesan, and mozzarella) if you can't get the Italian blend, just use the mozzarella with a little Parmesan!. I also sprinkle a little Italian seasoning in there!. Put it in a baking dish!. I usually use a fancy pie dish!. Sprinkle the top with a little more cheese!. Then bake at 350 for about 20 minutes, or until it is bubbly and brown on the top!.

I never have any leftovers and everyone is usually asking for more!.

and plus this is a lot easier than boiling eggs, peeling them, mashing the yolks up with other ingredients, and then nicely putting the mixture back into the eggs!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I have never made artichoke dip but deviled eggs are extremely easy!. I always bring them to pot lucks and they are always the first thing to go!

I boil my eggs, cut them in half and scoop out the yolks- then I mix the yolks with some mayo, mustard and a little relish!. I never measure but I make sure that it is thick enough not to be runny but still kind of creamy!.
I like to put mine in an cake decorating bag to refill the eggs- it is neater and just makes the eggs look nicer too!.
- you can put your filing in a sandwich back and cut a small hole in the corner and get a similar effect- I find it to a be much neater and tidier way to fill the eggs- once they are filled, I sprinkle a little paprika on the tops and top it off with 1/2 a black olive on each egg!.
You can adjust it to your tastes but it is very simple, fun and a much enjoyed hor d'ouvreWww@FoodAQ@Com

Deviled eggs will be simpler to make because just cooking an artichoke (in order to prepare it into making a dip) takes a lot of time and work!.
It is much easier to just boil some eggs, peel, mix yolk with mustard, etc etc!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Dip is much quicker!.

Everyone takes deviled eggs!. If you take deviled eggs try something different!. Instead of using mayo & mustard try Kraft Sandwich Spread instead!. Then instead of using paprika use a tad of chili powder!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
