What is an excellent spaghetti sauce recipee?!


Question: What is an excellent spaghetti sauce recipee!?
I've been using Calssico tomatoe & basil from jar for last 10 years!. I feel I could do better!. Any suggestions for an excellent recipee without a lot of fuss and bother or is that the dues you pay for excellent results!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

i know this sounds kinda simple, but i start off first with a can of regular ordinary spaghetti sauce and get it warmed up and i start stirring in small amounts of seasoning salt until it tastes just right!. this tastes soo good to me!. plus you can mix in the normal stuff in with it, blah blah blah!. for some reason the seasoning salt will counter that fake/sweet tomato taste that's found in a lot of spaghetti sauces and especially in canned ravioli, spaghettios and beef-a-roni type stuff!. usually the first thing i add to this kinda stuff is seasoning salt!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I just brown 96/4 ground sirloin and chopped onions & green pepper in olive oil !.!.!. then add a 28-oz!. can of crushed tomatoes (sometimes also a can of 15-oz petite tomatoes); basil, oregano, rosemary, garlic, salt & pepper and simmer for a few hours!.!.!.!.!.!.!.

Or, this is so easy, and my husband's favorite:

SAUSAGE & PEPPERS
2 pkg!. Italian sausage (I get 1 hot & 1 mild)
3-4 bell peppers (I mix red & green) - cut into strips or chunks
1 sliced onion
crushed garlic
1 15-oz!. can diced tomatoes
Cut the sausage into 2" pieces (or so) and brown in oil!. Add the peppers, garlic & onion and saute for a few minutes until tender!. Add the tomatoes and cover & simmer for at least 45 min (or up to several hours) !.!.!.!.serve over mostaciolli or penneWww@FoodAQ@Com

Easy!.!.!. and cheap!
Start by browning some ground beef, onion, and minced garlic!. Strain the grease!. Add Ragu' or Prego!. Add Italian seasoning, a teeny bit (like 1 teaspoon or less) of sugar (to cut the canned taste), basil, salt, and pepper!. If you like mushrooms, carrots, zucchini, or bell peppers!.!.!. finely chop them and add them as well!. Simmer for 15 minutes or so and serve over spaghetti!. EXCELLENT!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Classico is not the best jarred out there!. Barilla sauce is much better! I also add stuff to it to spice it up a bit!. Saute garlic, onions and peppers and add to your sauce!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Well, finely chop some tomato and onions!.
Sauté them!.
Then add some passata, a touch of water!.
Then add some finely chopped basil leaves and oregano leaves!.
