Answers:
This is the reason that few people are successful at grilling beans too-They fall through the grates! LOL!.

If the meat is 15% or higher fat content they have a tendancy to separate even without the addition of the A1 sauce!. I would suggest leaner burger meat, add less A1 if you think the amount you used was excessive and then form them quickly!. Working the meat too much in your hands causes the fat to melt as does excessive room temperature above 70 degrees F!. You may also wish to mix the meat and A1 together, form into patties and chill for an hour or so to firm them up a bit!. Just remember to start them low and slow on the grill if they are chilled, otherwise the outside will char and the inside will be rare as can be!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

either you didn't pat them enough, to get air pockets out or the butcher added water to the meat as he ground it (some do) but I suspect its the patting!. I roll my in a ball and pass it back and forth between my hands several times to compact the ball before making the patties!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You should try adding bread crumbs!. This adds some dryness to the meat that helps it stick together!. As gross as it sounds, think about how they use sawdust to soak up bloodstains!. Same concept, but tastier!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

you didnt pat them much!.nxtime, try adding bread crumbs and while its sizling hot on the pan, add cheese on top to make it delish!! mmm! and when it falls apart,it will still be tasty!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
