Any recipes for a smoked red Herring fillet?!

I normally boil it twice to take out the salt and then i break it up and fry with onions and then I add scramble eggs to eat and when the eggs are cooked then its done!. side of white rice and beans, salad!
But i need a new recipe!. There is only two things I know how to do with red Herring! '

Poach it in milk until it flakes easily ans use the milk to make a thickish sauce and add cooked pasta!.
The saltiness of the fish will be absorbed by the pasta!.
You could also use for a fish pie, or rice and veggies!.
I like some smoked fish at least once a fortnight!.
It you remove the skin after cooking, it will lessen the salt taste, but I like the skin!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
