Question: What can I get at the store to make quick in my crockpot tonight!?
Answers:
Yeah, a crock pot is also known as a SLOW cooker!. It takes hours to make stuff in it!. A good recipe is pot roast, though!.

Get a pot roast cut of meat, some red skin potatoes, carrots, onions, and celery!. cut the veggies into big chunks and put in the bottom of the SLOW cooker!. Salt and pepper the meat generously and put the meat on top of the veggies!. I also get McCormick's pot roast seasoning!. Follow the directions for the seasoning (it tells you to mix it with about a cup of water I do believe) and pour over the meat and veggies!. Cook on high for 4-6 hours, or low for 8-10 hours!. VERY tasty!. But SLOW!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Corned Beef and Cabbage! A healthy Irish dinner!

makes 8 servings (make it, eat some, then freeze in single, or double servings)

1corned beef slab thing (you'll find it, if not ask an employee)
4medium potatoes
1onion
4cloves garlic
1cabbage
water
seasoning (dont use the packet, just whatever you think would be good)

put corned beef in crock pot, add enough water to cover beef!. cut up potatoes, and onion, add!.
cook on high 1hour!.
cut(slice, dice- whatever you want) cabbage and add, with whole (pealed) garlic!.
cook on low 1/2 an hour!.

remove cooked beef, cut (against the grain) then put back in!.
and serve

If using pot on stove, boil then turn down to simmer the beef!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Quick crockpot recipes are an oxymoron:) !.!.!.!. crockpots are meant for long, slow cooking!. You'll need to make something on the stove, in the oven or broiler, or BBQ if you still have to go to the store, and then get dinner for tonight!.!.!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Do a mince casserole, but it would be just as easy to use a pot on the range if you have them!. and want to do it in a hurry!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

they actually sell like stew in a bag type things!. It has all the ingredients you need to make in your crock pot or slow cooker!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
