If you absolutely MUST eat it, take it to a vet and have it humanely killed with anaesthetic, then boil it!. Water works best for the boiling bit!.

No, you sould stab the knife down through the head as it kills it the quickest, dont boil it alive, thats horrible and prolongs the pain for it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Drive a BIG knife into it's brain, then bring it down through the front of the head!. Then, immediately into the boiling water!.

The 'screams' will still be there as this is steam escaping through the shell!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

put it directly in to boiling water whilst still alive
tho some say you should put in cold water and bring to the boil
either way, make sure their claws are rubber banded as they can nip when you are dropping them inWww@FoodAQ@Com

Put it into the freezer for about 1hr!.
It makes the beasite drowsy then boil it!.
Or take a very sharp knife & pirece its head then boil straight away!.
Or cheat & by a frozen one from Lidl but they are smallWww@FoodAQ@Com

Freeze it for an hour, then plunge (not CHUCK!) it into boiling water - ten minutes for each 1lb!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
