House sitting for a few weeks alone, what kind of foods can i prepare since its just for myself?!
im use to preparing for 3 or 4 people!. i don't want to eat out all the time thats not healthy and its pricey!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Have a lot of snacky but healthy things on hand like string cheese, fresh fruit, tortillas, canned beans, sliced luncheon meat like turkey and grated cheese with lettuce and salsa, whole grain breads for sandwiches, things that are a treat for you that your family doesn't like for me it is smoked oysters and believe it or not chicken livers which I share with the cat since hubby can't stand them!. Cooking for one can seem like a chore so it is great to have things that you just throw together with a little splurge here and there like ice cream and potato chips!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
You should make quick easy food like jacket patatoes and this recipe is one of my favourites for when i'm home alone:
INGREDIENTS:
1 9-oz!. pkg!. refrigerated or frozen tortellini pasta
2 cups frozen baby peas
3 Tbsp!. butter
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
PREPARATION:
Cook tortellini as directed on package!. Meanwhile, place peas in a colander!. When the tortellini is cooked and al dente, pour the contents of the pot over the peas in the colander (this thaws the peas to perfection)!.Return to the pot!. Add butter and stir over low heat until the butter is melted and pasta and peas are coated!. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and serve!. 3 servingsWww@FoodAQ@Com

well since it is hot go with salads!.veggie salads,cold pasta salads,egg salad,tuna salad!.!.!.!.have different dressings with them!.
