then you would have one flavor on a bunch of different things!. For instance, jalapenos aren't "dilled" usually!. Check out this website

I would reccomend that you think about doing some more research!. There are books out there that tell you what to do!. You have a choice to make!. You can either do the refrigerator method where things stay good for a few days to a few weeks in the refrigerator or you can choose do a pressure canning method that will allow you to pickle and keep food good for months!. If you choose the pressure canning method you might want to think about purchasing the "Ball Blue Book of Canning"!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I was wondering about that stuff too!. I have read a few websites on how-to, but in the end I don't understand it any better than I did before I read it!. Ultimately, I'd say to find someone who knows their business and have them show you how it's done!.

I understand you want to use new jars each time, and that they should be sterilized by boiling, etc!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Pickling is a little more complicated than that, and why use the factory stuff if you are making your own!. You will have to do your homework since there is a chance of botulism when doing any canning!. This is no joke death on first sip!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yes but why!.!.!?!?!? it is old and may be stale !!!!
in the spice section of the store there is a pickling spice!.!.
there are many recipes !.!.try any cookbook!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
