Ok, I make wonderful oven ribs!. I start with my oven at it's lowest temp!.!. (170) in my case!. I dry rub with my favorite mixture,(you can buy some) and put them on a cookie sheet!. I cover the sheet with foil, less mess to clean up!. Put them in early and forget about them!. They really won't cook, just tenderize and absorb flavor!. I make my own bbq sauce, but my favorite of all time pre made sauce is 'cattlemans original'!. yumm!. I also will paint them with "honey" or "sorgum" or "molasses" or "brown sugar" or any combination of the above!. (IT HELPS DURING THE CARMALIZATION PROCESS)
When your closer to ready to cook!.!.drain off the fat, or put them on a clean sheet paint one side with sauce and leave them, later, flip them and paint!. Keep doing this till the ribs have a 'built up layer of sauce' !.!. and the ribs are very tender!.!.!. then fire up the broiler and carmalize the wonderful little things!.!.then I still serve with bbq sauce on the table, just in case, but it is ussually not needed!. Then I step back !.!.and KISS MYSELF!!!!
PS!.!. I have never had dry or tough ribs but you must leave on low heat for a few hours, minimum!.!. I usually leave them most of the day!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

The plastic wrap will melt and burn in the oven, producing toxic carcinogens!. Not to mention, it will melt to the meat!.
It does not need to be airtight to keep moisture in!.
The foil is all that is needed to enclose the ribs and keep moisture in!.
350 degree usually means the ribs will be done in short order, under an hour, probably close to 35 - 45 minutes!. The meat will be chewier, but still a good rib!.
Cooked at a lower temp, the fat has time to melt and soften the meat!. Typically low and slow ribs, 200 degrees are cooked for upwards of 4 hours, foil wrapped, and steamed in their own juices, or braising in a liquid sauce of your choice!.
Near the end of cooking, the foil is opened, and your basting sauce is applied!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I would not have wrapped them in plastic wrap!. Not in the oven anyway!.
Foil would have been sufficient!.
I bake mine @ 250 degrees for about 4 hours!. With ribs the longer (slower) the cooking process the better they are!.
Best if you finish them off on the grill with a splash of your favorite BBQ Sauce!.
That is how I always do mine and they are great every time!. I do make a rub for them and rub them down before cooking in the oven, but salt and pepper will be fine!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Plastic wrap in the oven is a really bad idea!. I do a dry rub of spices and let it sit in the refrigerator for 24 so the spice can soak in!. Then I cook them in a broiler pan for 4 hours at 200!. Then with about an hour left I add bbq sauce!. It makes super tender ribs with lots of flavor!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
all you have to do is put them in a pan and add about an ounce of water then cover them with foil and they will be very tender!. you can use beer for the liquid as well!.!.!.very tastyWww@FoodAQ@Com
Your plastic wrap is ok up to 250 degrees F!. Then it will melt!.
Usually it is used last to finish the ribs and force the flavor from the grill deeper into the meat!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

please go back and take that plastic wrap off and discard!. i would lower the oven to 300 and cook for about 2 hoursWww@FoodAQ@Com
