Leftovers help or atlest suggestions.?!
My neighbor has about 5 c of sloppy joe meat n sauce combination and dont wanna do sloppy joes for a second meal Anyone got any suggestions to use it up for a second dinner!. Money is super tight so what ever use she could get out of it is great!. also she doesnt have a computer hooked up to the net right now hence my asking!.
The sauce is a ketchup , famous daves bold n sassy base with a bit of salt n pepper!. It also has chopped onion and bell peppers in it!. Its runny but not soup runny and could be thickened somehow Im sure!.

many things come immediately to mind, so we'll run down a day's worth of options!. Ready!?
For breakfast, remove some of the beef from the stock with a slotted spoon, and ladle into omelets, topping with chopped green onions and shredded cheese!.
For lunch, mix with some elbow maccaroni, top with a creamy style cole slaw and eat!. Or spoon over hot dogs and call them chili dogs, your style!.
Dinner time!? How about baking some potatoes about an hour, then cutting off just the very tops of a long side and scooping out the potato!. Mix well with an egg, 1T milk for each potato, salt and pepper, then restuff the potato skins and top with meat mixture!. Add sour cream, and chopped chives!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

1-1? lbs!. lean ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1 can beef broth (or 2 cups water + 2 beef boullion cubes)
1 can whole kernel corn, undrained (I like the mix of white and yellow corn)
2 cans diced tomatoes, any variety, undrained (I like petite diced, w/ onions and bellpeppers in them; if you want heat, use at least one can of Rotel)
1 can red or black beans, drained and rinsed
1 packet Taco seasoning
Garnishes (any or all)
sour cream
diced green onions
sliced black olives
sliced jalapenos
guacamole
shredded cheddar cheese
Brown ground beef over medium heat in large stock pot!. When nearly cooked, add onions and sauté w/ ground beef!. When onions are wilted but still opaque, stop cooking and drain off any fat!. Return to heat and add remaining indredients!. Cover and let simmer at least 30 minutes, or up to about 3 hours!. (Can be held longer in a slow cooker set on Low!.)

? tsp!. garlic powder
1 can green beans, drained
1 can whole kernel corn, drained
1 can tomato soup
Cooking spray

2 cups instant mashed potatoes
2 cups water
? tsp!. salt
? cup milk
1 egg, beaten
Black pepper to taste
1!. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F!. and lightly coat 2-quart baking dish with cooking spray!.
2!. Place meat, onions, and green peppers in a large skillet and cook over medium heat until meat is browned and vegetables are tender; drain all well!.
3!. Meanwhile, combine water, salt, and milk in a large bowl microwave proof bowl!.
4!. Microwave on HIGH for 5 minutes!.
5!. Remove from microwave and stir in potato flakes to moisten before mixing in beaten egg!.
6!. Sprinkle instant mashed potatoes with black pepper to taste, if desired; set aside
7!. Place well drained meat along with cooked vegetables in prepared baking dish!.
8!. Stir in drained green beans and corn along with garlic powder!.
9!. Pour tomato soup over all and stir to mix!.
10!. Drop prepared mashed potatoes in mounds on top over meat mixture!.
11!. Bake, uncovered, for 25 to 30 minutes or until potatoes are lightly browned!.
Note: Canned biscuits may be used in topping of meat mixture as a substitute for mashed potatoes, if desired!.

1 green pepper, chopped
1 can cream styled corn
4 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed*
1 can diced tomatoes
1 can lima beans, drained
1 small can sliced mushrooms, drained
1 envelope dry onion soup
Dash of Worcestershire sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
1!. Microwave peel and cubed potatoes on HIGH for 6 minutes to partially cook and soften!.
2!. Place potatoes, corn, tomatoes, beans, mushrooms, dry onion soup, and Worcestershire sauce to a crock pot set on High!.
3!. Brown crumbled meat in a large skillet over medium heat, adding bell pepper toward the end of cooking to soften; drain all well!.
4!. Add meat mixture to crock pot and turn setting down to low!.
5!. Cook for 3 to 4 hours; stirring occasionally (a little hot water may be added if necessary)!.
6!. Season with salt and pepper to taste!.
7!. Serve over hot biscuits or warm cornbread!.
Makes 6 to 8 servings
* 1 package of Frozen Hash Browns or Home Fries may be substituted for raw potatoes to decrease cooking time, if desired!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You can always freeze it for another night or!.!.!.
Make a bean pot, using about half of the sloppy joes, and add a can of kindeny beans, and a can of white beans!. (or whatever she has handy) or you can do a mixed bean soak a small handfull of whatever dry beans she may have overnight and boil for about 1 hour in the morning!. Then add them to the sloppy joe mix, if she has ham or bacon add that too!. Then sprinkle in a dash of chili powder!. And put in slow cooker or oven for a couple of hours!.
Or make a soup, add some sliced hot dogs, stewed tomatoes a little more chopped onion and a clove of garlic!. Simmer for a while and enjoy!.
