This is a good hearty meal made with bacon!.

CAST IRON PAN POTATOES

Bacon Slices
Potato slices
Salt
Pepper
Onion slices
Grated Cheddar cheese

Line a cast iron frying pan with bacon slices letting the ends hang over the sides so you can wrap it over the top layer later!. On top of the bacon, put a layer of sliced raw potatoes, salt, and pepper, layer of sliced onions, layer of grated cheese and top with another layer of potatoes, salt, and pepper!. Fold the bacon over the potatoes and bake at 350 degrees in the oven until the bacon is nice and brown and potatoes are done!. This takes 1 hour to 1 1/2 hours!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I always enjoy breakfast burritos with bacon in them!. Its great for a hearty breakfast or we actually eat them for dinner all the time!. I always do the basic eggs and cheese, but they can be really yummy with bacon or sausage, peppers, onions, sauteed mushrooms, etc!. I also like heating up the tortillas so they're all warm!. Ingredients

10 slices bread
15 slices bacon
10 1/2 ounces cream of mushroom soup, can
wooden toothpick

Directions

1!. take crust off bread!. cut into 3 strips!.

2!. generously spread undiluted soup on each strip ( it will not take whole can)!.

3!. cut bacon in half, place half a strip of bacon under each bread strip, soup side away from bacon!.

4!. wrap up bacon side out, soup side inches secure with toothpicks!.

5!. place the wraps on a cookie sheet!.

EASY - DO BACON ROLL - UPS

1 pkg!. refrigerated crescent rolls (8 rolls)
6 slices bacon, crisp cooked & crumbled
2 tbsp!. snipped green onion

Unroll crescent rolls and separate!. Sprinkle each with bacon and green onion!. Roll up dough starting with wide end!. Place on ungreased baking sheet point side down!. Bake at 375 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes!. Makes 8 rolls!.

EASY BAKED BEANS AND BACON

4 slices bacon, diced
1/3 c!. chopped onion
2 (No!. 1) cans pork and beans
1/4 c!. barbecue sauce
1/3 c!. firmly packed brown sugar
1 tbsp!. prepared mustard

Saute bacon and onion!. Add remaining ingredients!. Simmer 15 minutes, stirring occasionally!.

EASY STEAK AND BACON DINNER

1/2 lb!. bacon
1 lb!. thin round steak
1 c!. chopped carrots
1 c!. chopped onions
Sliced potatoes, 1 per person

In large saucepan, put bacon, steak, carrots, onion and potatoes!. Let simmer 3 to 4 hours on low!.

EASY CORN-BACON CASSEROLE

Put 2 can (16 ounce) cream corn in bottom of a 2 quart casserole!. Slice thinly enough potatoes to fill casserole!. Salt and pepper to taste!. Add 1 cup milk!. Criss-cross bacon strips (1/2 pound or less) across the top!. Bake about 2 hours at 300 degrees!.

EASY SPINACH-BACON OR PIZZA BREADS

1 ball frozen pizza dough for each bread

SPINACH BREAD FILLING:

2 (10 oz!.) pkg!. frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained well
1 lb!. bacon, fried crisp, cooled, crumbled
8 oz!. pkg!. shredded Cheddarella cheese

PIZZA BREAD FILLING:

1 c!. your favorite spaghetti or pizza sauce
8 oz!. pkg!. shredded Mozzarella cheese
4 oz!. pkg!. sliced pepperoni
Mushrooms, chopped peppers, or onions (optional)

Let dough rise until double in size!. Punch down, let rest 10 minutes!. Roll out on floured surface to 10x16 inch rectangle!. Spread with choice of fillings, roll up to 16 inch loaf!. Place seam side down on greased baking sheet!. Let raise to 1 1/2 inch size!. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-50 minutes or until tapping loaf gives hollow sound!. Remove from oven, spread loaf with melted butter!. Cool slightly before slicing to serveWww@FoodAQ@Com

Bacon wrapped cheddar peppers!.!.

Get some jalapeno peppers, cut the top off with the stem, take the seeds an middle out, fill with cream cheese!. Wrap the pepper with turkey bacon so its all covered!. Hold closed with a tooth pick!. Usually 2 pieces of turkey bacon per pepper!. Stick it in the microwave and cook for about 8-10 minutes!. Or if using regular bacon bake it for about 20 minutes on 350 degrees til the bacon is done!.

It sounds harder then it really is but as long as you get good jalapenos then these are really good!.

A BLT is great, especially if you've got the fresh veggies!

If you don't want that, try breakfast!. You've already got the stove on for bacon, so make some scrambled eggs and toast!

Still want something different!? Grill up some dogs (or burgers) and have yourself a bacon-wrapped dog, or a bacon burger!. I find that bacon burgers are particularly good with olives on them!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

bacon wrapped scallops!!! just broil until the bacon is done, turning periodically (should hold them together with toothpicks)
