I love sun tea! In the one gallon jar, I put 14 regular Lipton teabags, and 6-7 jasmine teabags!. Fill it up with the hottest water that comes out of your faucet!. Put the lid on and set in in the sun for 4-6 hours during the brightest, hottest time of the day!. When it comes time to put it in the fridge, pour it into a new clean container, and make sure to squeeze every last drop out of those teabags!. It's great with a squeeze of lemon!. And of course you can vary the flavors, instead of jasmine, use your favorite flavored tea to the base of plain tea!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I stopped making sun tea after someone told me that since it doesn't get hot enough to boil, bacteria can grow in sun tea!. I boil the tea now - 1 gal of water to 4 - 5 tea bags!. I only use Lipton Orange Pekoe tea bags!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
