I cant cook lamb?!

Question: I cant cook lamb!?
i cant cook lamb in my home because of the smell it gives off whilst cooking ,i describe it as a kind of rotting body smell , i tried doing it wrapped in foil and covered in marinades and herbs etc to try and disquise the smell but can still smell a nasty undertone because of this i have not cooked lamb for over 15 years ( i can eat the stuff and some times get my mum to roast it at her house) any suggestions please !.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
try cooking with an apple in the oven to absorb the smell!. Then you will smell the apple baking and not the lamb!

(just leave the apple whole and unpeeled in a tray and let it cook away while the meat cooks)Www@FoodAQ@Com

Try a different method of cooking it!. I picked up a leaflet in Sainsbury's and tried roasting a whole leg of lamb, delicious and raised comments from my neighbours about did I need anyone to help me eat it!. Whatever smell or aroma it gave off it was a good one!.
P!.S!. I cheated!. The lamb was bought from Somerfield, The recipe asked for red onions - I only had white!. It needed half a bottle of red wine and I only had red wine vinegar, It needed streaky bacon and I could only find Back, otherwise I followed it to the letter!. I have had a complaint known in this area as Podge ever since, caused by eating too much of the meat at any sitting!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
