Seasoning question, I really need help?!
I'm 1!. a horrible cook and 2!. completley going insane trying to figure this out so help is appreciated!. I wanted to make a cold pasta salad type of dish with chicken and a seasoning!. Now I can't remember the brand, but someone made a seasoning specifically for pasta or to put on chicken!. Do you have any clue what type of Italian or ceaser seasoning or dressing I can use on a dish like this or perhaps that seasoning I'm thinking of, I think you made it out of a packet and mixed it in a bottle with water or something!. Thanks for helping (told you I can't cook lol)Www@FoodAQ@Com

Any salad dressing will make a wonderful pasta salad!!!
try this: cook your pasta, for 2 cups of pasta put on about a cup of Italian Dressing or Red Wine Vinegarette Dressing!. Add 1 or 2 cups chicken cubes, a cup of diced celery, a cup of carrot slices, a cup of cucumber bites, and maybe 2 hardboiled eggs diced!. Toss and cover bowl tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate for a couple of hours for the flavors to blend!.
alternative is to do the dressing on the pasta, add the chicken, then dice a Granny Smith Apple, dice the celery, and have a bunch of either red or white seedless grapes to go in it!. Absolutely wonderful!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I actually think your husband is a lucky guy judging by the photo you have posted, but seriously any good quality Italian dressing should work (ie!. Bernstein or Paul Newman)!. You can go with regular or creamy, some specialty market sell a blue cheese dressing pack if you want to go that route or if you want to try a little soy sauce for a twist!. Just don't over do the dressing, pasta will absorb the liquid, but you can always add some more dressing the next day or two a little at a time!.

I use italian salad dressing all the time for chicken, fish, pork and pasta dishes!. My fave is Kraft zesty italian, but I'm sure others will work!. Pierce the meat and marinate for 15 minutes and then fry or bake!. Makes the meat juicy and flavourfull!. There are also dry salad dressing mixes that can be mixed with water, oil, vinegar or cider!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
My mom has a cold pasta salad recipe and all it is cooked and shredded chicken, rotini noodles (the colored kind), and a bottle of poppyseed dressing from the store!. She has to make 3 batches for our family reunion!. Its different than an italian pasta salad!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
