You want to have mince and gravy!?
So here is how;
In a pot or sauce pan fry some sliced onions in a little cooking oil!.
Not much, just enough to cover the bottom of the pan!.
When about 1/2 way trough frying the onions, add the mince!.
Stir constantly adding only a pinch of salt!.
When the mince is brown throughout, turn down the heat and add slices of tomato and if you want, frozen peas or other frozen veg of your choice!.
In total, the veg must not be more that 45% of the mince!.
Now add some spice of your choice!.
I also like adding "Robertson's Itallian Herbs" , but if you like a mild curry, for instance, add the curry powder at this point!.
Then cover the pot with a well fitting lid and let it all simmer until the veg is cooked through!.
Now add a little corn flower mixed with cold water into a paste to the mince/veg mixture to thicken the fluid that is already in the pot!. No need to add any extra water unless you have used too much corn flower and need to add water to thin the gravy!.
Serve on toast, or on a bed of rice or in a hot bun or on couscous or on pasta!.!.!.!.
Enjoy!.!.!.
For a variation, I add things like green pepper, cauliflower, baby carrots or bringal sometimesWww@FoodAQ@Com
