Does anyone know how Texas Roadhouse prepairs their sirlion?!
I had one last night and it was the best steak I've ever eaten!. I've eaten at some of the nation's best steakhouses, so I was very suprised!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Answers:
It's marinated in beer, olive oil and Lawreys seasoning salt over night!.
The steak is then seared in olive oil and a dash of crystalized sugar on each side and put on the grill with another dash of Lawreys, salt, pepper and sugar!. The searing and char grill are the real tricks!. It's the technique and not the recipe in this case!. A successful steak always has (dark stout) beer and Lawreys seasoning salt; but it all comes down to technique!. Used by chefs world wide!.
The sugar combined with the oil give it the mild crust texture that you feel in your mouth!. A dash of lemon juice while your searing the steak in a skillet will activate the muscle under your tongue and REALLY make it POP!Www@FoodAQ@Com
