With meatballs you gotta use a lot of seasoning!. Breadcrumbs are like a big flavor "sponge" that will soak up whatever you put in as seasoning!.
For some Italian style meatballs I'd add:
1 tsp MSG
2 tsp ground black pepper
1 tsp salt
2 or more (more is better) finely chopped cloves of garlic
1/4 tsp red pepper
1 tsp thyme
1 tsp cumin
Onions - optional (real Italians don't put onions in meatballs)as many as you want or use 2-3 chopped shallots
1 tsp sugar (yes, sugar)
Other optional things to consider (don't add all of them!), are basil, oregano, parsley, anchovy paste, mustard, grated parmesan cheese
Good LuckWww@FoodAQ@Com

I usually like to add a little finely minced or grated onion, some garlic (usually in powder form so it combines easily), and some ketchup or sweet chili sauce for tang!. It really depends on what seasonings you used!.!.!.I've been known to add soy sauce and hoisin to pork or chicken for Asian ones, and a little spaghetti sauce and some Italian herbs for Italian ones!Www@FoodAQ@Com

That's b/c you didn't falvor them up! Saute some minced onions and bellpepper in some EVOO, when tender, add to meat mixture, along w/ some worcestershire sauce, ketchup, a shot of yellow mustard, seasoned salt, garlic, AND the stuff you put it!. THOSE will be some good meatballs!Www@FoodAQ@Com
Once you cook the meatballs, get a jar of grape jelly and chili sauce!. Combine these sauces in a crockpot and add the meat balls!. Let simmer for a couple of hours!. Serve with white rice!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
