Here is a recipe, you can use the wet mix r the dry mix depending on whihc ingredients you have or whichever you prefer, personally though i prefer the dry mix:

Wet Mix

2 Eggs, well beaten

2 Tablespoons Italian Salad dressing

1 Tablespoon Flour

1 Tablespoon Creole Seasoning

1/8 cup Milk

Dry Mix

1 cup Flour

2 Tablespoons Baking Powder

1 Tablespoon Creole Seasoning

1 lb Shrimp, peeled and deveined

Oil (for deep frying)

Method for "Fried Shrimp Batter"

Wet Mix:- Mix eggs, Italian salad dressing, flour, creole seasoning and milk in large bowl!. Whisk or beat with blender until well mixed and set aside!. Dry Mix:- In large zipper type plastic bag combine flour, baking powder and creole seasoning!. Dip peeled shrimp in egg mixture!. Dredge in flour mixture!. Repeat each step!. Heat oil to 360 degrees!. Drop battered and floured shrimp in hot oil and deep fry for 3 minutes!. Drain on paper towels!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

The other recipe is good but here's what I like to do!. It's really quite easy!. Add any spices you like or just use the two ingredients I mention!.

Take bacon and cut the strips in half so they are about 5" long!. Bake these in the oven until partially cooked!. they still need to be flexible!. Drain then wrap the bacon around raw shrimp and skewer with a toothpick!. Back these in a 400 degree oven for 10 to 15 minutes - time depends on size of shrimp!. Delicious and you avoid the mess and expense of using oil to deep fry battered shrimp!. great as a meal or as appetizers!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
