I have some beautiful tilapia, looking for a good side dish?!

Question: I have some beautiful tilapia, looking for a good side dish!?
HI all, I thought I would fry the tilapia in half butter half olive oil zest some lemon and add lemon juice, a pinch of red pepper flakes and some fresh parsley to top off!.
I have for side dish ingredients, angle hair pasta or I can do a brown rice dish!. Any pointers on how to do one of those 2 ingredients really nicely!?
I also have frozen peas and carrots cream of mushroom soup, cream of broccoli cheese soup and well really a stocked pantry and everything for a loaded salad!. Please help, thank youWww@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Definitely brown rice!. Cook the rice as per instructions!. Add peas (if frozen just steep in hot water for a minute) and a fresh herb of choice or two!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yum!!

I love the combo of brown rice and sauteed mushrooms!. If you have some fresh ones, I think that would be awesome with your fish (I, too, love sauteeing with olive oil/butter combo!)!. I've also made brown rice with bits of dried fruit (almost any will work) and scallions!. Not a lot -- it just makes for a nice zest and a bit of color!.

A salad would finish it off nicely!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You can do either your rice or pasta with the same flavors as the fish!. Even toss the pasta in the pan the fish came out of with a little pasta water!. Add some fresh grape tomatoes and basil, YUM!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I suggest that you do brown rice cooked to Aldente flavor, then steam some carrots but add a little of brown sugar (just a pinch) and butter!. Perfect side dish for seafood!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I'm from the south so I would serve:
broasted potatoes and a green salad with balsamic vinegar, or coleslawWww@FoodAQ@Com

I would do something with angel hair pasta!.!.!.maybe with alfredo sauce or something!.!.!.but that sounds like a FANTASTIC dinner, i hope you like it!.!.!. :-)Www@FoodAQ@Com

do the angel hair pasta with a cream sauce- toss in the frozen peas at the end and sprinkle on a little parmesan and basil and/or parsley!.
add some warm crusty french breadWww@FoodAQ@Com

for side dishes you need one carb - e!.g!. rice and one veggie - e!.g!. peas!. good luck!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

brown rice with some peas and carrotsWww@FoodAQ@Com

I usually serve pasta as a side dish with fish because I am not a big rice fan (unless it is fried rice)!. I have made this angel hair pasta recipe many times, and it is one of my favorites!. Serve your tilapia along with this dish and a loaded green salad!.

Delicate angel hair pasta served with spinach, tomato and lime sauce, a treat indeed! From the Pasta cookbook!. You may substitute lemon for the lime, if desired!.

1/4 teaspoon Tabasco sauce (to taste)

Bring a large pan of lightly salted water to a boil and cook pasta until done, about 10 minutes(less for al dente)!.
Drain the pasta and return to clean pan!. Add the tomato mixture and toss well!. Season with salt and pepper to taste!. Add the Parmesan cheese to taste, toss again, and serve in warm bowls, with extra Parmesan on top, if desired!. Enjoy!
