what about fried apples!? peel and slice apples about 1/8-1/4 thick, fry them in butter on medium heat until they get soft and alittle browned then add some sugar and cinnamon, cook just until sugar gets meltly and gooey (dont want it to burn) and turn off the heat!. its great on ice cream or aloneWww@FoodAQ@Com

Ingredients:
6 large baking apples
3/4 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Add just enough water to baking dish to cover the bottom of the dish; bake, uncovered, at 350° for about 30 minutes, or until apples are tender!. Baste with juices occasionally!. Serve warm with a dollop of sweetened whipped cream!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I love applesauce! Just peel and core the apples, put them in a covered pot with about 1/2 cup of water, and cook for about 20 minutes!

Another good way to eat up extra apples is to bake apples - cut the core out, fill the hole of the apple with cinnamon and raisins, and bake at 350 for 30 minutes!. A delicious and healthy dessert!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
